Where to find us
MUA school campuses are located directly across Scarborough Town Centre, on the east side of the Greater Toronto Area. All three locations are directly on the Scarborough RT, which connects to the TTC Bloor Street line and Go Train routes out of Union Station, Pickering, and Ajax. Such convenience allows our students to come from all over the GTA, including Markham, Stouffville, Pickering, Downtown Toronto and Richmond Hill. We are located close to the Scarborough Bluffs, Toronto Zoo, and Rouge River Valley.
To accommodate families with children in more than one campus, our schools are conveniently located at a five-minute walking distance from each other.
Each campus is equipped with the following facilities to ensure students receive a quality and wholesome educational experience.
The multi-purpose hall is used for all major school functions. The hall provides an ideal space for school assemblies, events, graduations, games, and other inter-school activities.
The school cafeteria offers a space for students to enjoy their snacks and lunches to keep them refreshed during the day. Every Friday, students from alternating classes host a bake sale of healthy snacks, meals and beverages. Proceeds collected go directly into purchasing resources for the respective classroom.
To meet the requirements of our elementary and high school students, science labs (for General Science, Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology) are built with excellent equipment and facilities, ensuring a safe learning experience. The labs are designed to ensure student success in accordance with STEAM principles, combining text, videos, and real-world, hands-on activities and assignments. This way we hope to encourage students to learn through enquiry, exploration, questioning, debate, application, collaboration, and challenge.
To encourage student interest in programs of physical education, all students have access to an indoor gym, equipped with sports materials.
Students are encouraged to make full use of the school library in order to foster a healthy reading habit and feed the inquisitive mind.
All computers are equipped with multimedia kits and interconnected nodes with internet facilities. Technology is used to make teaching and learning meaningful and fun. Information and Communication Technology is well integrated into most subject areas to facilitate classroom teaching and digital learning.
